Bioprocesses Cuba is a bi-annual event organized by Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) that brings together researchers and technologists from all over the world who are at the forefront in the field of biotechnological processes for the generation of high value products in the pharmaceutical industry and agriculture. Our Project Engineer Josep Merlo has been presented in a plenary lecture the “Preparation and scale-up of rhEGF-loaded nanovesicles by DELOS method for the topical treatment of complex wounds”. By this presentation he has described the developments in the framework of a collaboration project between CIGB and Nanomol Technologies that will lead to the production of clinical batches in a cGMP plant.
