Experts in particle characterization analysis

Still don't know the #characterization services we offer with #microscopy and image #analysis techniques? 

At Nanomol we offer you an excellent #characterization service based on microscopy techniques such as #optical microscopy, #SEM and #cryo-TEM. We compare a candidate generic product to the reference medicinal product based on micro or #nanoparticles. 

With these techniques we can obtain a #statistical quantitative #analysis for comparing the particle size of the test and reference #samples. In addition, we can evaluate other #morphological properties such as circularity, aspect ratio, and maximum and minimum distances of a high number of #particles. 

In case of solid particles at the micron size range, we use automated #optical microscopy and image analysis with Malvern Panalytical device, Morphologi G3, to obtain #statistical distributions of any morphological parameter, such as #Circular equivalent and #Feret diameter (#ParticleSizeDistribution), perimeter, circularity, aspect ratio, convexity, amongst others. We analyse #raw materials, APIs, intermediates and also finished #products including complex #matrices.
 
In case of nano range particles suspended in #aqueous media, such as nanovesicles, we are expert users of #Cryogenic transmission electron microscopy (#cryo-TEM). This technique allows to transform a liquid #sample to a vitreous specimen by rapid cooling, and permits to directly visualize and analyse #particle #morphology of colloids in aqueous solution, preserving its #colloidal #stability and particle morphology. Image analysis can then be carried out, providing quantitative measurements of #particle size and morphology #parameters.
