Nanomol Technologies has started the TECNIOspring Plus project (TECSPR18-1-0016) that belongs to ACCIÓ's international programme (Generalitat de Catalunya) and it is co-financed by the H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions of the European Union.
The project, led by the researcher Dr. Ivana Malvacio, aims to develop the potential of the patented DELOS technology platform to produce high quality cosmetic ingredients, based on nanovesicle systems for the delivery of biotechnological actives.
The innovative product portfolio will be based on DELOS nanovesicles, which are an extremely powerful delivery platform because of their outstanding physico-chemical properties. They are highly attractive for the personal care and pharmaceutical industry due to the ease preparation and scalability by DELOS technology, as well as the inexpensiveness of their membrane components. Their expected performance due to their homogeneous morphology and structural stability, allowing for a precise vesicle functionalization with biotargeting groups, make them suitable to be applied for a wide spectrum of personal care applications, including skin, sun, oral and hair care.
The new products studied and developed during this project are expected to exhibit novel properties and applications that can expand the scope of technological solutions offered by Nanomol Technologies S.L.
