Today, Lídia Ballell i Hosa, #scientist from the NANOMOL TECHNOLOGIES #team, defended her #doctoralthesis entitled "#Translation of DELOS nanovesicles #formulations into new #pharmaceutical candidates" in a hybrid session at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (#UAB).
Main area of #research of Lídia Ballell i Hosa has been DELOS #nanovesicles, scientifically known as #Quatsomes. Knowing all the potential that these #nanocarriers can present for #drugdelivery, in this #Industrial Thesis Lídia Ballell i Hosa has studied the translation of #DELOS nanovesicles into new pharmaceutical #products to obtain #nanomedicines in more advanced stages of #development; ensuring #compliance with the #quality, regulatory and finished product standards required by the pharmaceutical #industry.
#Results obtained have been highly #valuable, supporting that DELOS nanovesicles can be #successfully used as promising pharmaceutical products for drug delivery.
We are very proud that a member of NANOMOL TECHNOLOGIES has completed the first thesis in Industrial #Doctorate format, under the #collaboration with INSTITUT DE CIÈNCIA DE MATERIALS DE BARCELONA (ICMAB-CSIC) and the supervision of Prof Nora Ventosa and Dr. Lidia Ferrer-Tasies, PhD. Many #congratulations to Lídia Ballell i Hosa for her great #effort and #dedication, which have been reflected today in her brilliant #presentation.
Keep #growing!
